I got a set of HiTech filters for my birthday. Went down to my local beach to give the ND 1.2 a try. There weren't any clouds in my area, but a whole shelf on the horizon, which the sun went behind, so there was no spectacular display. Still, I was pretty surprised (and quite pleased) with how this turned out, considering the waves crashing in were huge (and unsettlingly close).
We, the viewers of your photo, are very lucky that you decided to go down to your local beach to try out your new ND 1.2. This photo shot stands out as one of the best I have ever seen. You even captured the seagulls in the right background. The colors are fabulous! The mist swerving around the rock is an awsome sight to behold and the serene sky blending into everything makes for a sensational Photo Shot. Indeed worth an A+. Great Photography ~
Thanks so much for the and the very poetic comment There aren't any seagulls in the shot though, they're just tiny little rocks But I guess the appeal in this shot is that everything blends together you can't quite tell what's what.
You are most welcome. I truly loved your ART. Please pardon me for this late response. And, if I already replied, please accept this second response. I have been catching up on everything ~ as i have been absent from here on and off. Thank you for understanding.
You are oh, so welcome. Seagulls or not ~ it is still an awesome piece of photography. It does have tremendous appeal to the viewer. Thanks for writing back.
